    1. Yam 2. Chlorella 3. Anthocyanin rich fruits 4. Whole grains like oats 5. Coffee
  • A - eat: 1. Yam (purple sweet potato) 2. Chlorella 3. Anthocyanin rich fruits (red and purple fruits) 4. Whole grains like oats 5. Coffee (percolated through a paper filter to capture coffee fat, choose coffee grain with less fat) B - lower these 3 metabolic parameters: 1 - blood sugar 2 - triglycerides 3 - Apo B cholesterol C - avoid these 2 toxines: 1 - alcohol 2 - fructose (basically added fructose or fruit juice: there is less digestible fructose in the whole fruit). => beware of fatty diets and carbohydrate friendly diets because they damage your liver even if you are skinny. you are welcome!

Ten years ago I used to watch a lot of health channels from the PRC and they would usually focus on two diseases: fatty liver and diabetes. I remember being surprised about all the discussion of fatty liver (θ„‚θ‚ͺ肝) because that was not something I heard about that much here in the US. Now, ten years later, everyone is talking about it.
  • @MsCjmaxi
I'm glad to see this video focused on diabetes and fatty liver. In this one you explain why too many calories, no matter the source, is bad. I've been eating grains, fruit, purple yams, tofu, dates, kale smoothies, etc. Because of this though, my calories and carbs are high - people are concerned about my numbers. Trying to find a balance.

Great video. Hitting the save button. This info is worth more than gold.
  • Dr.Lui! You made me laugh so hard!! The description of the life span of ancient civilizations that ate a lot of animal proteins lived up to 40 yrs. Hear people talking about that but not their life span. I think I’ll stick with Whole Foods Plant Foods!πŸ˜‚
  • I love to listen to this Doctor so very smart!!! Thank You for teaching us!!!

Thank you for another great video! When you get a chance, could you please comment on the use of aquafaba as an egg/dairy/oil substitute? I find it makes super-delicious oil-free, sugar-free, home-made granola, but since it is not a real food, I imagine it's probably better to avoid. Is it as bad as oil? Worse? My granola recipe if anyone is interested: Fold just enough beaten aquafaba into a mixture of soaked/sprouted buckwheat groats and rolled oats to loosely bind them together, spread them on a baking sheet, and bake until crunchy. You can add fruit such as dates if you want it sweet. No doubt oat groats would be better than rolled oats, but I haven't tried that yet.
