  • A VR interview? That's the future of journalism right there
  • I am a disabled veteran and look forward to watching movies in VR
  • If they could be classified as a theater and show new cinema releases that would be the BEST workaround ever!
  • Okay, I'm in. Seeing you presenting the video actually within the app as an avatar like it's the most natural thing in the world, I'm sold. Very cool.
  • @BaxornVR
I would gladly pay theater prices for the chance to watch current movies at home in vr versus dealing with a busy theater. It would be alot more convenient and comfortable, imo.
  • @R0ndras
Literally tried it today for the first time. Amazing visual experience, and the audio quality is great too. You really feel like being in a cinema. Also encountered some random people in the lobby and the audio of their mics was so great that it looked like just normal people in any cinema(outside vr).
  • Finally. A movie theater where I don't have screaming children, a guy on his phone or some fat guy eating 20 packets of chips the whole film
  • Eats popcorn while using vr Can’t use controllers because of butter “Now we need the future of vr popcorn”
  • Damn. I must admit Big Screen have changed a lot. I personally downloaded it ages ago, but in the end Virtual desktop was better option for me, probably still will be, but I must give them credit for actually working on this app.

One of my favorite things to use BigScreen for has always been to just... lay down and cast the screen above me. Absolute comfort, a screen taking up as much of my view as I want, and a cozy environment surrounding me? It's great. Also, I've fallen asleep while doing that, a few times. It's... a little disorienting to wake up in one of the bigscreen environments, the next day, but on the other hand if you ever needed proof that the Oculus Rift is comfortable to wear...
  • Thx for the shout out, Mike! So yeah, if anyone reading this wants to use (or is already using) Bigscreen and wants to watch Anime in a great community of people, feel free to join us! (just Google 'VR Anime Society' or click the link in the description of Mike's video)
  • I can’t believe I never realized how much of a social experience big screen is! I think the social games and experiences is gonna make VR grow and it looks like Big Screen is gonna be a big part of it.
  • I've tried Bigscreen long time ago when I first got my Rift which was a pre-order Rift. I wasn't super impressed by it but this video has convinced me to take a second look it at.
  • @Mr_Boykin
I’m feeling some sorta way when 2014 and 2016 are referred to as “way back!”
  • But... We all knew this VR is obviously the future of media content consumption Now if my VR contact lenses i preordered from amazon would just arrive before the year 2032 i could perish happily
  • I love this my Friend is buying oculus rift Soon and we are gonna watch some movies together he lives over 250miles away so this is nice
  • A good option right now in pandemic when you want to hang out with friends but can't go to real cinema!
