Liz you are so right only get the essentials, breast pump, get a pack and play don't allow baby in your bed, boys are attached to mommy's and will Saturday on breast for a while, get a nursing pillow, a swing so your hands can be free and it can serve as a feeding chair, a sleeper etc, gripe mixture Cetaphil line of products, pampers pampers and wipes, teething ring, gel, breast cream for you, a A&D ointment, glycerine, baby bath with shower hose these are somethings I found useful

Hi liz you could start with bottles; bottle sterilizer;wipes warmer; vest or tank tops ppl have different names; car seat stroller you could look up on the baby doona or nuna and make a decision don't buy too much clothes cuz they out grow their clothes very quickly, hope this helps these are the essentials and also pampers of course and congratulations again on welcoming baby virgo.
