-
objectively cleaner than bd.
-
DCI didn’t feel complete last year without the Vanguard. Good to see them back and stronger than ever.
-
Quad line is absolutely cracked
-
This drumline is absolutely ridiculous. Already sounding this great this early too. It’s therapy watching them play. Rennick and Co. is doing it like they didn’t even have a year off. Thank you for posting
-
the bright red drums go crazy
-
There is some precision in that drum crew so tight that it is inseparable
-
There’s Jonz then there’s everyone else. By season end this book is gonna cook.
-
SCV signature style. A blend of quality, quantity and class. Don’t ever change 🏆
-
The quality of their sound this early sound's like late to mid season. This is insane how clean they are.
-
Best image quality I’ve ever seen on a lot video
-
To be this clean this early on in the season is beyond impressive!!!!
-
I played in drum corps in the late 90s, and ive always hated the way warm up exercises got soooooo complicated over the years. I love that scv is returning to the basics of clean and amazing.
-
Thank you PR, for remaining so passionate and dedicated to this craft over the years. Thank you for teaching the value of technique to produce quality sound. Thank you for the absence of head bobbing, weird facial expressions, and bad ballet dancing. Thank you for preserving stoicism.
-
This book is seriously SO much fun to listen to.
-
QUALITY. Going to call it right now: Sanford Award 2024
-
I know this is gonna sound weird, but I respect that they put the tall kid in a position to really play - instead of gravitating to the "level snares visually" thing. Dig.
-
Classic rennick writing, and it sounds amazing as always. I hear some phrases from 2018 and 2019 mixed in there.
-
Do you think you know excellence? Ask yourself if you can do anything to this level of perfection. In their little corner of the universe, these men and woman have achieved a level of excellence very few of us will ever discover.

What makes SCV great isn't only the fact that they have great writing and great playing. To me, what makes them great is the mirror image down the line. Everyone sticks in at same time. It just looks uniform. Nowadays drum lines all look like bobble heads cause they all are "Feeling it." It looks kinda tacky. These players look like a well oiled machine. Always great.
