Smooth transition of power ...the great Britain way... The elequent way Keep calm and carry on fear God honour the king
  • That's what always fascinates me about Britain, that after every election the outgoing prime minister quietly hands over power to the new prime minister, wishes him, goes to the king, who then accepts the winner of the election and he goes to 10 Downing street and most importantly doesn't try any experiments there and they still have my Conservatives and Labour.... That's what I like about Britain... In Britain - although you certainly have your problems too - it's still okay in this respect ... Greetings from the Czech Republic...

I love it that Sir Keir mentioned the weather to the man greeting him! So very British 😄

Maybe not important in the big scope of things but I always look to see if they thank or speak to the people who open their car doors for them..gives me a sense of how respectful they are to ‘us commoners’ and true to form, they were blanked!

He was greeted by the King's Private Secretary, who he was sat next to at the recent state dinner for the Japanese Emperor.

Completely ignored the lady who opened and closed his car door. That bothers me straight away

It’s refreshing to see a stable, orderly change in government without the loser sending in his goons in an attempt to derail the process

I love that people showed up at Buckingham Palace in the rain to witness peaceful transition of power ❤

Good luck Keir , lots of promises to fulfil ,now's the time to put the actions behind the words ,
  • There has been such an upheaval in the U.K. with respect to the change of government over the last few years. I hope this new government stays in power for awhile and things settle down.
