Two of my friends died since 2018 protests, one of them died with an explosive tear gas and the other died after the occupation forces were done beating him with sticks for several days in an unknown detention facility. I will always cheer for freedom, not for me, but for my country and it's next generations, because that's the sole purpose my friends sacrificed their souls for. #Freedom_Peace_Justice for Sudan.

1:40 Omar Al-Bashir was by no means Africa’s longest ruling dictator. That title belongs to Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, who has been ruling Equatorial Guinea since overthrowing his uncle in 1979, a full ten years before al-Bashir took power. Teodoro Obiang is still in power to this day, so his now 12 year lead on al-Bashir will only keep growing.

She's an absolute legend. What an amazing journalist she is! Being there on the ground, in a protest in Sudan whilst knowing that was a real possibility the military would start shooting at people (as they did) is very very brave. I hope she will be OK and won't have PTSD.

10:10 - Even the Military spokesperson looked so scared. I guess he was afraid he'd be jailed if he said anything wrong, lol.

This is an incredible story and so very, very sad. Hemetti is a terrible person. His legacy of violence has stretched for decades and he still refuses to stop.

I'm foreigner from Indonesia who's studying in Sudan and I didn't even realize it was happening in this country.. Indonesia at '98 had the same problem, but we was solving it quickly

Young women appear to be leading the resistance, based on this report. Powerful stuff.

Thank you for shedding light on what happening in Sudan. Your questions were on point, and they are used to answer in ambiguous ways. From what I see it, the military will not hand the power to the civilians because they are afraid of being held accountable for what they did in the last 32 years. I live abroad, but I am sad about what happened to my home country. It is of the best reports of what happening in Sudan. Many thanks for your efforts.

lol that "General of the navy" was like "the military have looked into the military and have found nothing to be wrong!"
-
