Just to tell everyone if you're someone who is new to Kingdom Hearts series and haven't played all the games then you are going to be confused to what is going on in the story. I recommend playing Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 remix and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 remix on the PS4 so that way you will have a much better time understanding the story (yes I know its complex and trust me I don't blame you) but there will be important parts you have to focus on that will be carried over in Kingdom Hearts 3. With all due respect I can see why people don't want to play these games to understand the story and they just want to get into the gameplay thats fine but if you're someone who expects a great story then its important to play the past KH games to understand it, or you can just watch the game cutscenes on YouTube so that way it will save you time.

I feel bad for people who’ve played KH and KH2 and think they’re caught up on the series

You forgot to mention that anyone who wants it because of the FF characters is gonna be pissed because Nomura didn't put them in since he only saw them as support that the original characters don't need anymore. It's technically just a Disney crossover now...

Couple of points: Kh2 provides exp points automatically per defeated enemy. Kingdom hearts chain of memories uses exp orbs. Executive summary of the story so far in this video is very on point in such few words. Around 5 minute mark the complete selection box art is shown instead of 2.8 when mentioned. Previously there were a max of 3 party members you had an influence. In an odd scenario you might have an npc joining, but you cannot control its assets. Kh3 will therefore add an additional 2 party members. Then again, this comes from someone who is kingdom hearts addicted since its initial release, so for a games report, all not bad listed!! EDIT: the orb comment has been taken out, cool 😊

I'm actually really impressed, you actually seem to know you stuff! A couple things I'd like to correct, I don't think that Marshmallow (the snow monster) will be a summon, just a party member. I could be wrong, though. Also, Remy is just in a shop in Twilight Town, not his own world.

Wow, "added 1 minute ago" isn't something i thought i'd ever see.

I really hope they keep the exploration a big focus like in 1 and 2. Both really rewarded players for finding things that were hidden in some really out of th way places. It always felt really great finding a new little spot or area that you could access with a certain new ability, and this added a lot of replayability to previous worlds like all the crazy spots in 1's traverse town.

A summary of the story will be available as a day one patch you can select it from the title screen, but I highly recommend playing all the games it's really worth it, I platinum all the HD collection can't wait to gather all the materials for the Ultima Weapon again and sing in Atlantica.....no wait

I've been doing a run through all the games on ny channel and MAN WHAT A SERIES. Bout to start KH2 and blast into that headfirst this weekend. Looking forward to learning everything before KH3!!!
