I like how futaba’s awakening isn’t painful because she isn’t giving into her rebellious spirit but accepting the truth about herself so it’s a persona 4 situation

I love how Joker and Queen has a harder time to tear of the mask than the other ones. Its like they feel harder to show teir trueselves

I like how the personas share the same voice actors as their users, really shows they’re their other selves.

i like that kasumi has no blood on her face and doesnt have a struggle when pulling off the mask probably due to the fact that she never revealed her true self thus is still technically keeping on her mask

I love jokers awakening because society wants him to keep his head down when he feels like he can’t overlook anything. Arsene basically says, screw society, if you can’t overlook it, then don’t.

I like how the personas are just calmly talking while their user is straight up just dying on the floor, like ryuji is rolling on the ground for a solid minute

Dude, can you imagine being Ryuji and witnessing that though? Lmao. Like a new kid shows up that you barely know, next thing you know you’re getting attacked and the new kid has this freaky supernatural power, removes a mask and bleeds everywhere, then afterwards has this psychopathic smile on his face with this demonic looking thing behind him. I’d be scared shitless!

You know Kamoshida was a right piece of work when he awakened three Persona users, four depending on when Morgana awoke Zorro.

I just love Arsene questioning Joker before awakening, pretty much asking Joker "are you still willing to try to help people when it can turn out so horribly?" You're goddamn right he is. Ann nominated him for leader for good reason.

I love that Sumire's first awakening is full of hints about her real identity. She had no blood and didn't struggle at all when taking off her mask, and Cendrillon even makes a subtle remark about her chosen identity about being Kasumi, Then her second she actually does struggle and has blood on her face

I say Yusuke's is always the best. That look in his eyes always gets me with that crazed smile.

theory: yusuke had an easy time taking off his mask because he wasnt afraid to be truthful in himself, he wasn't holding himself back like the others. he had shown before and after his awakening he wasnt afraid to speak his mind to Ann, Akira, and Ryuji.

It’s sweet to notice that Violet’s face doesn’t bleed the first time because she’s not actually giving in to her purest and most honest conviction. It’s sweet that her persona almost charters her through such a traumatic thing. I’m a twin and if I lost my sister, I can’t say I wouldn’t turn in too.

Haru's awakening remains my favorite, and I can't pin exactly why. I think I just love Milady's speech.
