The guy who wrote the biography of Sontag, Benjamin Moser, said that he quickly started to hate and resent Sontag while writing the book, that actually looking into her life made him realise what an awful person she was
This is one of the lesser feuds she had with Camille Paglia during the time when Sontag fell into intellectual irrelevancy
