RV's group sound is really the best, their focus on harmonization and musicality really sets them above all other Kpop groups, and allows them to pull through everytime despite taking massive risks by changing their concept and theme every comeback. Almost no other group would be able to pull of what RV has been doing over the last 9 years

they are one of the very few active kpop group who has truly established their own sound and style that is so distinctly different than others. when you listen to their song on the radio, you'd recognized it's red velvet. i don't like the way sm manages the girls & their career (i'm talking about the many missed and wasted opportunities) but i like the way they are so consistent with red velvet's music

Red Velvet is one of the only groups that I think actually own the whole "experimental" sound and look. They do it SO well.

I beg to differ to those who say Red Velvet has lost their relevance in the industry. The number of views in a K-Pop MV is one of the worst ways to measure a group's success in the industry. 28 million may seem like a really small number but the numbers in every aspect other than views are really impressive. Just because Red Velvet's views are "declining" every comeback does not mean they have fallen off. Red Velvet keeps selling more and more albums with every comeback, which is extremely impressive after their long hiatus. You would think they would have fallen off after that long, but they achieved even more than they ever did. From less than 200k sales for "Finale" to 350k with "Queendom" to 650k with "Feel My Rhythm" and then 1,029,463 copies as of January 20. That is an insane growth. Just because they don’t have mass-bought views on the videos doesn’t mean they aren’t relevant any more, so do not feel bad about the low view count. Their achievements are ORGANIC, so do not be discouraged and keep supporting the cake girls

I LOVE How SM groups just stick to their themes and stay true to themselves no matter what trends other companies try to follow. It means you’ll never get bored! Red Velvet again is proving why they’re so important in the Kpop industry, they’re simply so unique and incredible!!
