FIRST LOOK at S.H. Monsterarts SHIMO from GODZILLA X KONG Figure News!

It’s insane that the price is $240 - $270 for a figure that looks like playmates, sorry Sh fans, I thought Sh was cooking with that evolved Godzilla, Beast glove Kong, maybe Skar king, but this? I’m disappointed how they didn’t put that much effort into it, also they made the Kong head come with it too, it’s just like those marvel action figures that have the arms and body so you are forced to buy them just for the company to get money, this is so greedy. Hiya is cheaper and more accurate, The Sh fans are going to attack me💀

The fact that she has no jaw muscles in the corners of her mouth look so odd. The only thing I like on this figure more than the Hiya figure are the translucent parts. Other than that, the Hiya Shimo figure has better paint, textures, iridescence, movie accuracy, and most certainly quality control

If it was between the price range of $130 - $150 then it would have make sense But this price doesn’t make any sense for this Figure 😑

That is not worth $240. It looks cheap. I spent $300 for the Spiral-Arts Hall of Fame statue of Shimo and it looks absolutely stunning, especially when you see the image where Shimo and the HOF evolved Godzilla are next to each other. I bought that as well! Godzilla ships in August I think, and Shimo ships in December. I lost all faith in S.H. Monsterarts when I bought Ghidorah and it just kept falling apart from the moment I took it out of the box.

You know what's nice about Hiya? They ask for the cgi models by Weta, so they can model off of them and try to make the figure work for it's accuracy. The exception is Skull Island Kong, but ILM is never too keen on sharing their models so that's not on Hiya SH does it by scratch, and mostly fail

They really messed up for years they have made amazing figures for Godzilla but my god their monster verse stuff is so hit and miss almost all the toho stuff is fine but god damn the MV figures are either amazing or bad

Im probably gonna buy it, yall this is a blessing compared to other MV figures.

i dont like the baf ideas of kong it works for like a marvel legends because those are cheap but not an shma which can cost over £150 in the uk

I hate the sculpt and honestly the head is terrible and it looks to skinny and the tail spikes are way to big and the back spikes are to inconsistent in size to the movie

As if Paywalling you to buy Skar King to have Kong's BEAST Glove. Now they are doubling it down to make you buy this piece of sht to Have his other head with a silver tooth. Don't cave in. Just go online and buy a small brush and small amount of metallic color paint. I know it's not easy at first, but would you rather pay $200 just to have Kong's other head? Voice out your disgust on these kind of practices and do your own thing. DON'T LET TAMASHII FARM YOUR INTEREST
