These guys couldn't do anything wrong in the 80's... everything they did went to the top. ... after seeing them 12 times in concert, I have no regrets, and I listen to it louder today then I did then.

Very few vocalists age and sound exactly as they did in their heyday. Mike Reno accomplished it. Many of their songs were the anthem for an entire generation and the helped to set the 80's on fire, LoverBoy definitely contributed to making the 80's the best era of real, raw music!!!

Brings back great memories of 1981/82...I was in 7th grade here in Mobile Alabama. Lover boy had some great songs in the 80s...THE GREATEST ERA/DECADE OF MUSIC TO EVER COME AROUND IN MY OPINION!!! Man...I really miss those days of the 80s!!! Wish I could go back. Much love from Mobile Alabama.

I was in a demo studio in Denver and a friend brought the lead singer in. He asked to use the phone and he was told this song had just gone gold. Great singer, great band.

I saw these guys for $5 in 1981 at the Danforth Music Hall which at the time was still showing movies most nights of the week. Bloody brilliant! Three weeks later "The Kid Is Hot Tonight" hits the radio and the rest is Canadiana Rock and Roll history.

I saw Loverboy live in '83. They brought their "A" game and rocked the Augusta Civic Center! Great memories.
