Dear Youtube, STOP auto-pausing Danheim, of course I'm still watching.

Went up the mountains alone and played this music at night around a fire. I entered a different world.

If Odin has taught me anything he has taught me that life is worth living. That fighting to survive is the way of the world and that one should never surrender even when facing the end.

The only bad thing about this album is that it ends.

The track called "Reida" is like some kind of time warp techno viking pagan shit like I can't even believe. I grow more impressed by this genre as time goes by.
  • These are strange times with what’s going on in the world. This is the soundtrack. Timeless Melodies!

Saw these wooden warrior idols. Stopped the video, went out, carved one... Well now I have one of these warriors protecting my carving and carpentry place in my garden. And no, it's not a joke:)
  • Half Lakota Native/ Half Dane here, this music really helps me to be brave and move forward in difficult times.
  • To anybody who's reading this, sometimes it's the little things that can make a big difference. Take time to appreciate the simple things in life, like a beautiful sunset, a warm cup of coffee, or a kind word from a friend. These small moments of joy can help you stay positive and keep going, even on the toughest days. And remember, it's okay to take a break when you need it. Self-care is important, and taking time to recharge can help you come back stronger and more focused than ever 💖

Such an honor to work with you on some videos for this album bro! ⚔ When you sent me the songs a couple weeks ago, I went up to a lake here with my dog..sat down on a rock, put it in my earplugs ..And damn, just the first song Kala hit me right in the heart! Amazing work! Skål

needed this tonight. May the Morrigan be swift and carry my father in law into the next world take his spirit shape....
  • Whenever I hear Reida it gives me a reaction that none other song gives me; it makes me feel like I'm entering a battle-ready trance. I can't really put it into words, but I love it. Danheim is the king of Nordic Folk music.

Although my family has been in America since the first English colonies I can feel my ancient European ancestors moving inside me when I listen to this album, wonderful work once again.

I had autoplay on while reading Lord of the Rings and this came on as I reached the part where Frodo, Sam, and Gollum reach the Morgul Vale and the dead city of Minas Morgul, with its deathly, pale light set within a valley darker than the night sky and a putrid, steaming river running in between. The armies of Mordor, all in black, have marched out of the cavernous gates with the Witch King of Angmar at their head and behind them, east over the Ephel Duath, an omnious red light can be seen coming out of Gorgoroth, lighting up the peaks and ridges of the mountains like jagged teeth. What perfect scenery for this music.
