The only aim in Rust is to survive. To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and cold. Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town. Do whatever it takes to survive.

I will never forget the 15 man village I set up with pure randoms on an official. Set up a solid compound with 7 different shooting towers, 6 dedicated to defending raids and 1 for heli fights. We had a dedicated guest code for all the airlocks, a community berry farm where people were responsible for 1 specific berry so it kept things efficient, it was awesome. We wanted to try again but with a cave base incorporated in where we could stash stuff for emergencies.
