The Amazon is burning, and Hong Kong is in protest. Instead I made this atrocity. Videos of actual value up next.

"I'm escaping to the ONE place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism.." INHALES Tries not to laugh "SPACE!"
-
The best part of Red Alert 3 was destroying EA LA's office.

If you think about it, this game is actually a kind of existentialist horror. The moment time travel gets invented, the war becomes non-linear in time, meaning it can never truly end because any defeat can be undone, and an attack can be staged at any point in time before or after hostilities have "ended" in any given timeline.
-
I think it's so crazy that they were able to get actual known actors from the 90s to star in the cutscenes. They could've got anyone but they got Tim Curry and Ray Wise
-
"this movie is based on true events." the movie:
-
A Laser coming out of mount rushmore to destroy the soviets is one of the most American things I’ve ever heard.
-
1:26 I love how Tim Curry is struggling to keep it together saying that line.
-
I love that Tim Curry’s “I’m gonna go to space” bit was pretty much a blooper. He could barely hold back the laughter but they decided to leave this as it was.
-
"The ONE place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism... SPACE" Who's gonna tell him?
-
The biggest achivement of the Red Alert franchise is creating one of the best songs in gaming history
-
The most insane parts about these games are the sheer number of well-known performers involved in the cutscenes.
-
Red Alert 1 - A goofy premise made into a semi-serious alternate history. Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge - You know, the satire really just writes itself, let's be silly. Red Alert 3 - Ahhh, fuck it. Let's go full meme.
-
Red alert is just the history channel at 3am
-
Behind every Romanov is a strange mystic wizard man
-
You can tell the developers had SO much fun making these games
-
Kudos to the great German actor Udo Kier who played Yuri so brilliantly.
-
I’m convinced that Red Alert is a satire within a satire within a satire and it’s just too good.
-
Real line from the game: “Another presidential head capable of firing lasers has come online”
-
I didn't realize just how much talent was actually in these cutscenes. Sure, i knew about Tim Curry (and the sheer hilarity of the "SPAYCE!" line), but JK Simmons? Peter Stormare? George Takei? Udo Kier?
