I'm increasingly perplexed as to how with all these exponential advances in productivity, we are working harder than ever for less reward. Utopia: stifled.

It is not the quantum computer that concerns me; it's the evil ones that may use them

A technocrat's instinct is always to play the role of George Orwell's "Ministry of Truth." I'm not surprised that AI enthusiasts are excited about having AI serve that role, because they get to set up its algorithms.

16:38 - guys..this is insane. The image isnt a copy like its just recreating directly from the eyes, its a similar image. Like its creating it from the thought, like how you see it in your memory. Thats fucking bananas and pretty terrifying.
  • Great video, filled with tons of animations. Thumbs up for all the hard-work! The video gives me chills, showing how rapid technology can evolve.

Excellent! I have been following developments in this area since the 70's. For someone that has not been following, this is a huge step forward for them.

Can we get more new videos of michio kaku while he's still with us.. As in conversation questioning etc

holy shit .. @13:04 this has to be the simplest explanation of the difference between classical and quantum computing. Very exciting time to be alive, there are many areas quantum computing will change forever, we are still at the infancy.

"an airplane is more than just a faster horse" okay, ill throw you a like just for that one

It’s inevitable we will get an Oppenheimer of quantum computer developers that will develop that next level of AI sooner rather than later regardless if we want it or not.

The MRI cannot just look at brain waves and see that the human is looking at a giraffe. What’s left out when people describe this experiment is that the machine has to be TRAINED to produce the giraffe based upon how this particular subjects’ brain waves are formed in response to images the subject is looking at. Even Tristan Harris leaves out this rather essential feature of the experiment. So no, a device cannot be invented that you could use out of the box to see what random strangers are looking at or thinking about.

This is the beginning of Skynet’s first cybernetic organism and the beginning of T-1000

Qubits remind me of the Story of Noah's Ark. I think there is some Non-Linear Time work there. Perhaps some people writing stories hundreds of years ago were being influenced by Current Events.

The force that seeketh to destroy the fire at the centre of our being... Is the force that will be rooted out forever...

In short they are developing a processor that will bridge magical or spiritual realm into reality and making it logical

THEY HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT HOW TO ENTER IN AND OUT OF DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS. It will be interesting if or when they can do it. The Universe has different Dimensions. They don't have the frequencies yet. We only see in One Dimension of Space right now.
