other people talk how this song is sad and terrifying, but how come no one said it's nothing short of a pure masterpiece, from beginning to end

До мурашек, мягко сказано. Музыка не стареет! Любителям жанра респект!
  • It's sad and scary to think that there were soldiers who went through this, this is one of my favorite songs of all time and the meaning behind it is one of the reasons
  • It's strange... I can see Jason's fingers moving but I don't hear anything...
  • This 8 minute music video has a more intense and epic story than most 100 episode tv shows.. within an even more epic song.

I realize this is a song about a soldier but I have a person this song always reminds me of. I work in a hospital as an assistant(orderly) in an ICU. A person got into a motorcycle accident. He hit a deer then got ran over by a car behind him. He was battered seriously bad. Everyday I worked we were called up to help turn the person so he didn't get bed sores and change the linens underneath him. As we turned this man he would cry in pain even though he had pain meds and paralyzers so he couldn't move. He was stuck in a living nightmare of pain and he couldn't say a word. I can't imagine the amount of pain this person went through. He died several times over a 3 month period only to be revived by staff. This person eventually died but not before enduring 3 months of pain and hell. Must have been a relief. I am so glad he found peace finally and was no longer in pain

    Шедевр навечно...
20 лет назад эта песня помогала мне переживать непростые времена.
