I almost forgot she was in Floetry for a minute. LITERALLY a minute. 🤣🤣🤣

Amanda is an empath. A genuine person navigating a world full of deception and fake people. I totally understand her and relate to her plight of constantly trying to just speak the truth and being punished and hurt repeatedly for it.

It took me 48 hours to finish watching the interview, but I'm relieved that I managed to see it in its entirety. People often take clips and twist them to fit their own narratives. As someone who works with individuals with disabilities, advocates for mental health, and is empathetic, I resonated with her and Shannon at the start. I'm grateful that things calmed down and she was able to express herself fully. My hope is that this interview brings her some peace within. I believe it's important for people to have a positive self-image rather than feeling worthless and hopeless. As a woman of color, it's disheartening to witness how we treat each other at times. If we were more understanding and empathetic towards one another, we could progress much further. I admire Amanda Seales' talent and I pray for her continued success, not only in her career but also in her mental well-being. Unfortunately, many will overlook her admission of suicidal thoughts, nervous breakdown, and instead choose to criticize her.

I love me some Amanda, truth tellers aren't widely loved but real recognize real.

The problem is that people cannot handle her larger than life personality. But we were not born to be small we were born to shine . She is disliked simply because she is not afraid to exist in any space and speak her truth as she sees it. She knows who she is and that scares others! I applaud her for her love of self and for protecting her space.

I've always respected her. She's very blunt, direct and straightforward.

The difference between Amanda and Monique is The daddy. Monique has extra support while Amanda has to fight for herself.

I’ve heard her tell the Floetry story several times and it’s always consistent- so that indicates she’s telling the truth.

Shannon handles complex interviews superbly! It is rude for Anyone to imply he is intellectually inferior to someone who keeps snapping at every word he says or is confusing to talk to because they're always in their own head. He is kind and respectful. His transitions are mellifluous. Love Club Shay Shay.

I agree about how floetry went down. We were never introduced to Amanda and were surprised to see her on stage with no introduction.

I love when people are able to clear the air and tell their truth.

It’s not about understanding the rules… It’s about understanding the GAME.

This girl here is 💯. People will get mad at you for YOU not allowing them to use you. They mad cause SHE’S NOT STUPID. 😂 They know she’s extremely talented, they want to use her for their come up, but don’t want her to shine. People will try to dim your light so they can try to shine brighter.

I love her calling Shannon out! I had the exact same impression of his change in tone in that moment. Most of us wouldn’t have the strength to call that 💩 out in the moment. We usually take note, get smaller in that moment and move on. I resonate with her entire perspective. As someone who is so similar, I understand it’s a hard road.
