The band was gracious enough to let me sing Tennessee Whiskey. It was crusher to be able to bring in the harp. Love that sound! I’d say singing at Tootsies is a dream come true, after all, every time I’ve been to Nashville before I’ve spent quality time there. But honestly, most of what I’m doing now was not a dream; this journey of mine is only two years in the making. But I have milestones I’d like to achieve on this journey now, and I work towards those, one day at a time. This was an amazing experience, one that stuck out right away when thinking of things to do in Nashville. The answer to sing was already no, it could only change to yes. It took me 4/5 songs to work up the courage to ask, but that only fueled my connection to the music once we started.
