Bartender here A good pour is a combo of the 2. A fast pour with a tilted glass. 2 fingers width of foam. Your "correct" pour would lose it's freshness after 2 sips and Taste worse

Former bartender here 👋 we angle pour to start and foam it towards the end. Release the bubbles and ensure the client gets their money's worth 😄 nobody likes a flat beer 🍺 😉

As a czech i find this short weird :D neither of the pour is perfect, in my opinion you combine the two, you start with first method and in like 3 quarters you switch to the second, that way you have foam hat that prevents your beer from oxidizing but you don't loose most your bubbles... And altho there is reason for doing it that way, at the end of the day, pour beer as you prefer...

But in all honesty you should start like you did on the first pour, then just over half way in begin pouring like you did on the 2nd pour.🍻

He’s absolutely right. I personally pour my beers the wrong way and enjoy it even more only because I will only drink 3 craft beers at most. Drinking cheap beer all day is a waste.

That's absolutely correct. Drinking straight out of the bottle or can is for those that know not of the physics of beer or its effects on the human digestive system.

When I worked for an ad agency here in St Louis, I had to go to beer school at Anheuser Busch because they were a big client. That's exactly what they they taught. Straight down the middle!
