It’s feels so good to have someone who is well educated about hyperpigmentation on brown and black people. Thank you so much Dr. Rattan
  • Don't worry about the CEOs... we appreciate you and your honesty!
  • @iyaniwura00
Omg it took us brown skin people a long time to finally have a brown dermatologist that knows exactly what we are going through. Thank you for your time Dr. V, well appreciated 🙏❤
  • “That CEO” needs to get an education first! 🙄 Indeed he needs to learn from you! Dr. V please don’t be discouraged, cause we less fortune with skin care knowledge need to learn and empower ourselves! You are absolutely doing the finest job educating us! Thank you so so much for all the love sharing and empowering us with what’s best for us! ❤️
  • @shanchip1
wait! please do not stop exposing brands that aren't good for us- other wise we won't know what to avoid. even if its 90% bad, please still educate us :)

  • @raheltenkir7159
I am from Ethiopia and you have no idea how much I love you, the effort and energy you are putting out there to actually help out skin of color people and most of all you give this preciouses advice for free. You are beautiful inside out keep doing what you are doing we really appreciate it. Bless you.
  • Please don’t fall to pressure from big brands, you are always respectful and your opinions are supported by data. These companies rely on customers ignorance to charge a lot for little quality. Do not be silenced we do need more education and information easily accessible for consumers. It is normal that some people get a bit upset at the beginning but the wheel will turn and companies will get on board and we will see better quality products as a result!

Hi Dr V, here's a video request: best and worst haircare ingredients for shampoo, conditioners and leave ins. Love your videos
  • @TimeWatch5
I've never used a drop of sunscreen in my life. I think it's time to buy some.
  • @shessounique81
YOU ARE A GODSEND!!!!! OMG! I've been in the spa industry and I feel that it's more for Caucasian skin when it comes to facial products. I'm so happy I found you.
  • @sumayaamin8592
I am so glad youtube recommended me to her channel. As a brown person, I absolutely love how she points out how and why skin of color is different to caucasian skin. It didn't take me two whole video to subscribe to her channel. I am already in love with this woman!!! What you're doing for the skincare world is immeasurable! 🙌
  • Please don’t stop doing what you’re doing! Because, if it weren’t for people like you and a few educated professionals on YouTube I’d be lost. I diligently sat and watched this video with pen and pad in hand-while stopping and writing down the information for my next trip to target or wherever. I appreciate your hard work and content.

How did we get so blessed with a YouTuber like this?!, ❤️
  • @RebeleneM
I'm not a woman of color, but I am a woman of "a certain age" 🤣 and I LOVE learning about skincare!! Thank you for breaking down the formulas so we can know what to look for and what to avoid. I actu actually use all of the CeraVe cleansers you talked about and the pm lotion as well! I'm now going to purchase the other 2 creams you recommended based on the amazing info you taught me 🤗 Thank you again, and stay well!
  • Dr. V! I love you, I’m obsessed with you, you’re the only person that I trust with my face. I don’t follow anyone but you because influencers are not doctors and can’t be trusted sometimes. You’re coming from a true place of actually trying to help POC. You brought my Drunk Elephant bag from $600 to $150. I have a stable nightly facial routine because of you. I can’t thank you enough. I would love to know any Vitamin A (retinol) that you would recommend. The ordinary has been out since March of their Retinol and every other brand I see the percentage is always too high. I feel that’s the last things I’m missing. Love you always!

The CEOs should worry about what kind of products they put on the market ! People Of color are NOT a minority and we do need products for our skin. Bless you for educating us 🙌
