viewing of your processing in modelling with su is visually joyful & internally communicating with our understanding consciousness.

With you I confidently challenge all other 3D modelers. You're proving that everything is possible with SketchUp. Heeeey Trimble!!! You have to make a golden statue for this guy at SketchUp office building.

Really gonna need someone to do tutorials on roads using the "free" plugins for once.
  • I like the 3rd one the most. The issue I find with the 1st one is that for more complex terrains, the road generated would also be of a jagged, complex shape, which is not how roads are. Option 2 seems useful but the result looked very unrealistic - I don't think for such sloping terrains, that much of earth/concrete fill is used. It might be useful if the road slope is known, or the terrain doesn't slope so drastically. Regardless, always love your videos and workflows!

Very good, but much more simple with Instant road mui plugin! :)

You truly are a legend and a great asset to us on SketchUp here with your skill set. Much appreciated. But I was wondering. Do you know if you could maybe try and make a tutorial on how to create marble/onyx material? The only thing I seem to miss out on is the reflections that seem to disappear from when I made the base material which I draw to the two sided material. I don't really get that.
