  • As a casual whos shit, I can actually feel as if I’m improving match by match, but then I’ll get stomped by someone in a random match and I’ll try again
  • @soaxy
That's really cool, but please don't tell me you're dropping The Finals for XDefiant 😕
  • @giff74
Some of you guys comparing XDefiant to The Finals should relax some LOL. They are totally different FPS games. They can be be successful with their own groups playing them and a few gamers, like me, who enjoy both.
  • @plasticss
Its so generic, my friend described it this way "its like the games people play in movies"
  • @ADAMAXiUS
"Xdefiant is one of the games of all time." Am I missing something?
  • @1337Jogi
I can tell you that lack of SBMM kills games - it absolutely does. I used to love Chivalry (medieval fighting game) when I started playing it. It had a similar system. You would play against newbs as long as you had a low level. When hitting a specific level from that day on it throws you into random matches without SBMM. For Chivalry that was after about 20-30h. I loved those first 20-30h - it was fantastic. After that it was so painful I stopped immeditately and never played again. Games only cosisted of absolute pros that would stomp you into the ground. The game died a long time ago since it only had a fan base of extremely expetienced good players left over. No SBMM kills every game that is has not a very large player base. It will frustrate players in the lower half of the skill curve and they will leave. So the skill cap of beeing above average and thus having some fun rises steadily until you have only pros left behind. And this will never change since every new payer will be turned away.

Graphics? I'm still playing CS1.6. Always setting everything to low, or turn it off, to reduce any form distraction. In XDefiant, my winrate is on 6.31 - since i'm used to play with a team and i'm not THE topfragger or something. I'm the support/medic/objective-player who's doing the background & main-things while the rest is on the hunt.
  • This game is epic and a straightforward approach to FPS shooters and should be the standard for all FPS shooters moving forward. Take notes
  • @NoMisZx
the way to balance Controller vs MnK is giving Controller players Gyro-aiming, it makes aim assist redundant. Gyro enables mouse-like precision on controller without Aim Assist. it's motion control, just like a mouse
  • Also Ubisoft prices are insanely expensive for some stuff. The most basic cosmetics that you’d probably get for level one are a 5 pack in $30 bundles
  • @Its_Lui
The game is good but there are small things that doesnt feel "smooth" making the gameplay feel choppy, stiff, or they cut corners. Good ex: using shotgun, there are moments that kinda feel unresponsive when aiming & shooting. But thats just me, 8/10 game
  • I see too many people saying xdefiant is bad for lots of issues that are getting fixed. I play this game and although there are indeed issues with it, I find the game itself very fun, all of the problems I have with it are only bug and balance concerns. When judging games I think it's important to look at its core design instead of its momentary performance. I think it'd be a shame to ditch a good game because it had some momentary issues when you played it.

I had my first "hacker" yesterday. He was flying through the map, was invincible, able to get into our spawn etc. He was lvl25 so possibly doing this for quite a long time already. Sad.
  • @giff74
I agree with almost every big point he made in the video. My only concern, as a M and K player, is that if PC lobbies start to dry up in 6 or 12 months and I can't get access to enough cross platform players it'll be impossible to play. That happened with Titanfall 2 really early in it's lifespan.
