Max Richterは「四季」に悲しみの色調を色濃く刻印した。庄司紗矢香の演奏は、その悲しみに奥深い場所で、これ以上望みようのない密度で共鳴している。斬新なリズムの躍動の最中に悲しみが吹き上がる。激しい悲しみの疾走。華やぎと安らぎの深部に寄り添うような悲しみのたゆたい。そして、終曲の、静謐が支配する鎮魂。庄司紗矢香のヴァイオリンは余すところなくMax Richterの悲しみをわたしの深部に届けてくれた。

格別クラシックに造詣の深いファンというのでもないので、あくまで自分の限られた経験の範囲ですが、これほど、美しいバイオリンの旋律と音色は、いまだかつて耳にしたことがありません。ちょっと大げさですが、まるで天上界の音色のように思え、思わず眼がしらが熱くなります。

東京のラ・フォル・ジュルネ２０１６で拝聴いたしました。 庄子紗矢香が自然をテーマに自選し、気がついたら弾き振りダッタそうです。 なんと言うか、彼女の音楽観、音や間の取り方が浸透していて、いつにも増して心の中に入り込んで来る。シャコンヌでの音楽観が、演奏家どうしで響き合い、増幅されている気がしました。 所々に雅楽の陶酔感を覚えたのも不思議な感じがしつつ感動しました。

ヨーロッパ管弦楽は日本人では環境が違うから無理だとこれまで思っていたが、むしろ西洋学を幼少から学び、仕上げは日本人の繊細なわびさびの感性をもって完結するような可能性もあると考え方が変わってきた。既に楽器製造も日本の宮大工の技術をしてクレモナ以上のものは出来ているように最後には日本の四季変化の敏感さより完成させていく気配も感じる。SAYAKAにはそうしたものが充実してきた演奏に進化している。

The dissonance at the end of Autumn I that isn't entirely present in the official recording is so incredibly eerie and beautiful here. I come back to this recording for that most of all.
