it honestly looks like they know what they’re doing with this movie. the little wahoo at the end got me so hyped 🤣

I like the detail of Mario learning the obstacles. Makes perfect sense since this is his first time facing them.

They legit merged all of the Mario games into one single original story. They even took elements from the 1980s cartoon.

I was one of those people who laughed at the casting of this movie, but after watching the second trailer, I was like, "Oh sh*t, this is going to be amazing."

I love that Princess Peach is gonna be more involved in the story instead of being the damsel in distress.

What I REALLY love about this is that they pay homage to the video games, both the old-school 2D ones (including Mario's debut in Donkey Kong) and the Mario Kart series. I had a huge grin on my face when I saw the bridge with flying piranhas (that's Stage 3 of the original Super Mario Bros on NES).

I see a lot of people on Twitter saying how bad Chris’s “wahoo” was but it personally sounded pretty good to me. It was pretty accurate to how Mario says it in the games at least.

Holy crap this trailer just felt like the debut of the Multiverse in the Super Mario-verse. Mario gathering an army to stop Bowser it's going to be an amazing adventure. It's a cinematic masterpiece and the whole shot by shot of the game is just beautiful. Donkey Kong grabbing Mario by the face and then punching senselessly is going to be a meme easily. The whole sequence with Donkey Kong at the arena grabbing Mario by the face, slamming to the ground and beating him senselessly had the same vibes with Hulk vs. Thor in Thor: Ragnorak at Sakaar's battle arena.

"The one that's actually kidnapped and in danger is Luigi" had me laughing too 🔥😹

Just the fact that they've managed to get people from being super skeptical when we first heard of this movie, to being genuinely excited to watch it is pretty amazing.

BIKER PEACH! I'm glad they went in the direction of not making Peach a damsel in distress! They've absolutely nailed the aesthetic of the Super Mario universe. The animation is the chef's kiss. And the addition of Funky Kong and Rainbow Road makes this movie an artwork that belongs in a museum like the Museum of Modern Art of the Louvre

Seeing the Mario cart at the end has me sold im in for opening day 😂

I loved everything about this trailer. Mario fighting DK had me dying, plus the references (racoon suit, Rainbow Road, Fire Flower)

Suddenly my expectations for this movie changed completely, Chris Pratt actually sounds decent in this trailer, and I love how vast and expensive the Mushroom Kingdom looks Literally, we've never seen it like this

I cannot explain how happy I was to see not just one but an entire herd of yoshis!

I feel like the reason some of the voices feel off to some people is because we're used to the generic way they sound from our childhood. I'm still shaky on Chris Pratt, but their voices aren't bad, everyone seems into what they're doing and it both looks good, looks fun, and is gorgeously animated. Definitely something I'd like to go see.

This is pure nostalgia and that Mario kart scene at the end could be an exciting part to see in theaters. I grew up with Mario Kart on the Wii and DS and my gripes with the film trailers has completely gone. Great video Reel Rejects 🙏

This entire movie is one giant love letter to everyone who grew up on the Super Mario universe.
