  • Truth is no one will understand the relationship between John and Paul like John and Paul.
  • He’s usually an easier talker. You can feel Paul holding back a continent of emotion. Now that’s love.
  • @jesseemullen
Paul was always the stoic one in the group. To see him so uneasy and struggling to fight back the emotions he must've been feeling shows the love he still felt for John. Beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.

This made me cry. It's like hearing a brother doing a eulogy about his beloved brother who passed away.
  • Love it when Paul says: "John Lennon, you made it. Tonight you're in the rock and roll hall of fame. God Bless Ya."
  • @ryan49er1
He was talking to John...not to the audience....keep that in mind.

You can tell he loved him like a brother. His words are inspiring. They changed the world together. Thanks for the music. It inspires us all everyday.

Beautiful and sad all at the same time. I still can't get my head around how we lost John Lennon all those years ago. Paul and John--two of the greatest song writers and performers of all time.
  • @margo3367
When he said, "Oh boy," I knew he was trying not to cry, so naturally I lost it.
  • They both lost their mothers when they were young. They were both crazy talented and determined. Look what we got out of it. Timeless music, such a gift for our heart and souls forever

No one is more rock than John Lennon. Not a fake one with tough looking clothes, silly symbols and generic obnoxious stereotypical rock behavior. John was the real deal. He had a real edge, he had charisma, intelligence, he didn´t conform and he was innovative. All that is on the inside. THAT is rock.
  • What a class act. You can feel the love he has for Lennon with every word. At the end he was doing his best to keep himself composed. Truly a class man. Legend

"Think of me old friend" The last words spoken by John to Paul.

It cracks me up when people complain about Paul's ego. If you wrote the soundtrack for an entire generation and were told every day of your life how special you are....let's see how well you keep your ego in check! I think Paul and the rest of the boys did a pretty good job...all things considered.
  • That was a very brave performance. To stand before the world and recapitulate the shared life of a deep friend, a brother, really. I thought at each word his voice would break and he wouldn't be able to finish. I sat, enthralled, listening to his vignettes of his life with John, very moved by the stories and his obvious trial of emotion. And he pulled it off. Such grace under pressure is a rare thing to witness in the world, today. <3

You can tell how important John was in Paul’s life they were brothers and he really misses him because Paul is trying not to tear up because normally he talks so easily. John may be gone physically but he still lives in peoples hearts R.I.P. John Lennon the world misses you ❤️
  • @Deanetts
Bless him, he’s obviously broken hearted about losing John. How he held it together I’ll never know.

Watch the full documentary "Get Back" and see for yourself the love these two guys had for each other.
  • Love Paul McCartney My Dad saw the Beatles live. Paul just comes across so laid back and he has gone through so much. I am so happy they put their differences aside.
