Under Eye Filler reversal & Ultraclear Lasercoring

Published 2024-07-21
In this video, I am removing under-eye filler on my patient who was regularly injected with both Radiesse and Juvederm fillers at another facility every six months. She did not realize she did not need these fillers regularly and eventually noticed puffiness and swelling under her eyes. Concerned, she reached out to me for help. During the examination, I observed that the fillers used were not suitable for the under-eye area; they were hydrophilic, meaning they absorb water and cause swelling, and they were not placed correctly.

I meticulously injected the reversal enzyme, hyaluronidase, to dissolve the hyaluronic acid fillers, ensuring to avoid the vein near the medial canthus. The patient did not suffer any bruising during this process. I also explained to the patient that additional filler could be removed if necessary. After the filler removal, the patient underwent laser coring with Ultraclear. You will see in her before and after photos that she looks lifted, much more refreshed, and youthful after the procedures.
