K.O. Claim! Baymax Vs. The Next Gen Robot (Project 77)

Published 2019-11-01
#Baymax #BigHero6 #NextGen

Please forgive my horrific mispronunciation of the name "Ares". I only realised after the video was posted. Anyway, FINALLY! The first episode of K.O. Claim is complete!

As a footnote, I'm really not sure if there's a significant strength difference between Baymax and Project 77. Instances that suggested otherwise might have been purely situational. However, chances are Baymax's martial arts will give him an edge at close range, given that such skills would bolster the efficiency of his strikes.

By the way, I am aware that the Next Gen robot's full designation is "Project 7723", although he is credited as "Project 77", so I decided to go with that.

Please note: In this video, Baymax's analysis is based on Season 1 of Big Hero 6: The Series in addition to the movie, given that I am mostly familiar with Season 1. Baymax and the team get a few upgrades in the second season, although I doubt that those upgrades will influence the outcome of the battle too much. Anyway, what do you guys think? Who would win between the two war machines?

In case you were wondering, the clip at 7:13 comes from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

It's stunning to know the fact that such a MASSIVE company like Disney, failed to have such beauty in a movie when Next Gen was only made with Blender, yes, BLENDER!
  • Honestly, the way 77 smiled when the winner was announced, it just feels like: Great job Baymax, you did your best! Because I don't really he'd flex his victory on Baymax...

It's not fair to compare a health care companion with a robot designed to take down Ares.

I just watched the gen I LOVE it. I really recommend you to watch it. It's really emotional at the end but it gets better.

I love them both and both films I enjoyed very much but I gotta say 77 is pretty op considering all the advance weapons he was built with, 77 was literally built for ultimate combat...

In terms of storytelling, I think Next Gen wins. Big Hero 6 was too fast paced in my opinion.

But like, why did I almost cry in TWO different movies about a robot losing its memory? Well I guess Baymax didn't really lose his memory, but his scene was just as emotional!

There should be a Big Hero 6 x Next Gen crossover

Big Hero 6: Baymax sacrificed himself to save his friend and millions of people. Next Gen: Project 77 sacrificed his memories and took significant amount of damage to save his friend and millions of people. We compare them because they both Reminded us of what hero's are and how technology although innovative can be dangerous to the very people who created it which in turn effects humanity. Love Both, but Big Hero 6 has a special place in my heart and memories, it was the 1st movie in theaters I took my 2 yr old son to, its a tradition now. Any new Disney&Pixar/children's/superhero movie that I believe is ok. I take him but sadly with the ShutDown that is on hold. Both films are good. Next Gen did very good, being a non-Disney film. It's silly but I cried. It has all my favorite genres-Action, Adventure, Comedy, Sci-fi, Animation.

Baymax was obviously not trying to hurt his friends..
