I'm proud of Cole. He has been very consistent in doing what it takes to win gold. Congratulations to all three of the gentlemen!

Jakob was so concerned with pushing Kerr out wide he forgot about the rest of the competitors and gave Hocker the perfect opening to steal the race. If Jakob doesn't swing out, Cole would've had to swing out to lane 3 and then make his move and might not have had enough left to get the win after that.
