I remember bursting into tears as soon as Aly finished her last pass in 2016. I still get choked up whenever I see that clip. She is one of the best to come out of the sport, in my opinion. Truly a mentor and a positive voice for the sport.
  • I am so happy Katelyn was able to find herself again through the sport. Truly brings tears to my eyes
  • Morgan napping in the gym on the mat is a MOOD hahahaha. Also I’m so glad Katelyn was able to find a love for the sport again with college gymnastics, after watching Athlete A it’s messed up how USAG didn’t give a crap about their gymnasts injuries, mental health or safety.

I’m so happy that Laurie Hernandez has another year to practice. People were counting her out saying she returned too late to try and make it for the Olympics but now she has more time 🙏🏽

Katelyn Ohashi story makes me feel so emotional every time I hear it. I was a competitive swimmer and started when I was very young as a way to cope with my father's death as a child. I loved it until I didn't because it became expected to be great. Whenever I didn't live up to those expectations I would feel like such a failure. I can't imagine ever being good to be in serious competitions so to listen to her story just crushes me. Getting injured and being forced to quit the spot was an incredible feeling but also a huge loss. Something that I had loved and then hated for so long was just gone. I am able to appreciate swimming more now but will never have that love for it like when I first began.
  • Ok first off, I am STOKED there's 6 episodes of this, not just one. It's so strange to be able to recognize the US gymnasts who is speaking based solely off their voice, how many interviews and videos did I watch to get to this point. Aly's "I WAS PISSED" is hilarious, she's a gem. She held herself so well after 2012. Katelyn's story breaks my heart, so much pressure and she was so young. I genuinely appreciate that this covered so many gymnasts and their stories, I don't think we see this kind of content frequently, thanks Glamour!

I’ve never done a single flip, but I love gymnastics so much. Got so much admiration and respect for these girls, such a beautiful graceful sport.

I don’t care how many times I’ve watched it; EVERY time I see Alexandra finish her Olympic floor routine and place her hand first to her neck, then mouth I CRY WITH HER! I get so overcome with joy and an immense amount of pride that I can’t help it. I love her, y’all! I just love her!
  • Almost 50 years later, Olga Korbut’s smile and charm don’t go away. She’s still as sweet and beautiful as she was when we first saw her ❤️❤️
  • @JenniHartman
Bart Connor talking about Nadia with such pride, you can tell he adores her!
  • @banshee1133
that is mind blowing to receive bad news about a spine injury and to feel "happy" about it.

thank you thank you thank you for giving these athletes a platform to share their stories and gain well-deserved recognition! i don't think i've ever heard Aly Raisman speak so much about 2012 uninterrupted as she did here. can't wait for the rest of the season and to see the newer faces :)

I feel for Katelyn so much. You can tell she was watching her words about her coach 👀

Morgan literally takes a nap at the gym and then proceeds to practice again. That, dudes and dudettes, is what we call DEDICATION.
  • Watching this after our Women's got Silver and Suni just got gold! They push themselves so much and I hope that the sport improves for them and the future. I think Simone pulling out of the Olympics has allowed for this conversation to take center stage and we will start to see changes. Congrats to the girls on their silver and Suni on her gold again!
  • TBH I'm still kinda tears up when Ally crying after she finish her floor exercise in Rio , just so touching
  • @0xTRellyx0
I know this section is supposed to be emotional but @ 15:37 while Okashi discusses how she hated gymnastics, it cracked me up to watch Simone all giddy and relaxed w/ head bobbles - like doo doo doo - gymnastics is awesome!
  • @abihunter4134
My ex once said that gymnastics wasn't hard because there were springs in the floor. I'm still in disbelief.
  • @sking0707
I loved Aly Raisman’s floor routines. I fell in love with her powerhouse and sassy yet still graceful routine in 2012 and it’s amazing see how much she pushes herself at her age at the 2016 games and I’m disappointed that we probably won’t get to see her again in the 2021 olympics 😢

I love Alys parents they were so cute and fun to watch during the Olympics. I am so glad everyone is so supporting of each other!
