Appreciate the huge amount of work that went into this, as this should be a reminder of why act 1 made us all Fall in love with the Series. This really made me think alot about on how Important the adaptation of season 6 will be for the series Popularity. I am one of the few who actually liked season 5 alot, which resulted in me starting the manga and now being up to date ever since :) cant wait for your Video on act 2

absolutely stunning video, awesome to find out more tidbits about the deku name meaning, the fact that the anime was planned to be similar to one piece's release and explaining Bakugo's character arc, that's one thing that's always felt pretty abstract and tough for me to follow. MHA's Act 1 has to be one of the most iconic anime and manga in recent memory for sure

All Might VS All For One is still my favorite fight from the series to this day, there’s just so much awesome storytelling in it that is amazing to read and watch. It’s sad to see how the current state of My Hero Academia is but I hope the Series will end on a Good Note. Thank you for making this video AsarathaHS, it was really awesome. =]

This put all the eureka moments and randomly theorizing small moments in act 1I had throughout my time as a mha fan all compressed into a video and explained thoroughly, great video which explained my favourite acts and its relevant themes that can still be felt in the endgame of the series, can't wait for the next ones

I love how you don’t spoil anything for the anime only watchers. Nice little retrospective to watch after recently finishing season 5
  • I think the best thing of this manga is how it feels that is has the feeling of slow burn. Shigaraki, the hero society (and for consequence, All Might), Endeavor... If you're invested in some of these things that got development, you for sure are going to eat good.

Awesome as always. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for more MHA and Re:Zero content. I wish you a great day from Germany

Great Video man, really appreciate the segment talking about the batman argument and the "all men are not created" part. So severely misunderstood and yet elaborated upon perfectly here :)

What an incredible video and I can't wait for act 2, and act 3
  • I still have the impression that the series as a whole is a bit more mid than good, but you did a pretty good job of getting me to appreciate certain aspects more than I did before. One thing that I still think the first part struggles from is how hard they leaned into Bakugo’s antagonism. I get the insecurity angle that drives him to lash out, but the extent to which he lashes out really calls into question whether or not he deserves “redemption”. In the video you said that the Final Exams arc was Bakugo at his lowest, and yeah he was an absolute piece of shit there, but I think his worst moment was his first hero training class against Deku. Bakugo shot a giant explosion at Deku, despite All Might ordering him not to on the basis that it would kill Deku, and despite the possibility killing or severely injuring Deku Bakugo shows no sign of introspection or reflection to indicate that he’s remotely regretful for taking such a risk just to boost his ego. It’s bad enough that it takes hundreds of chapters for Bakugo to bother apologizing to Deku, but for him to not even feel bad subconsciously for nearly killing somebody he knew since childhood really puts Bakugo’s characterization in a bad light.
