  • I'm doing this right now on my 22" 1993 Fleetwood Flair. Using the eraser wheel. Goof Off Adhesive remover was the ONLY thing that worked to get the old adhesive off. On difficult spots I use it with a magic eraser ( if you rub too hard it will take paint finish off). Thanks for the video!
  • Hi just bought a wizzy had been putting this off for a while because my first attempt was a heat gun that did work for small lettering but I do have larger older faded letters that have adhesive on them that I knew would take too much time and messy glue to remove. Tomorrow I'm using the whizzy wheel.Wish me luck and by the way I too am using a battery powered drill driver.
  • 3M Specialty Adhesive Remover or RapidTac Rapid Remover seem to be the best solvents for RV decal adhesives.
  • Hi, thx for vid. We're looking to remove decals from our '88 fibreglass boat for same reason. Can you recommend the wheel you used? Is that the Wonder Wheel Whizzy or ABN? Not wanting to spend the $ on the 3M. Thanks in advance!
  • I need to get some paint transfer off a car door from a scrape-by. Think this'll do it?
  • @EricSNeitzel
I have two tone corrugated metal on my Springdale TT and it did awesome on the white but on the grey the wheel took it to metal. I’ve gone through 3 wheels already because of the corrugated aluminum. Worth it though! Those Arizona sun baked crispy decals were horrible to look at.
  • Wow, that’s a lot of work. Lots of trial and error, but it looks like you’ve got it figured out.
  • I'm going to try this with my die grinder in the hopes it's easier to manage than the drill sideways?
  • Hi, I'm in a similar situation, removed decal/ sticker on 20 year old jayco caravan. Have only done small area as to test, problem like in your informative video. Outer edge of decal is still there. Tried the following: general purpose thinners, nail polish remover, both took paint off . turpentine, white vinegar, mentholated spirits. No go. Looked at 'goof off' says contains acetone ( same as nail polish remover ). Wondering what was the ' magic bullet' to remove ? Thanks
  • @nickholmes1334
best thing to use is acid free nail polish remover...i'm an auto detailer 22 years experience and that's what i find works best
  • @csorrows
IPA takes the adhesive off as well and cannot hurt the surface. Try to get as high % as you can, here that would be 19%.
  • I mate just done my motorhome you won't to get some label Removal it work great to get the glue off
  • @AussieRic
did it get the hard glue off too? , after my sticker was off theres thick hard glue left on my boat
  • @kristinekoski7345

Methylated spirits works best to remove the goo.
