  • This is great! Though it's nothing compared to my achievement of making an ENTIRE SONG in 3.5 years.
  • @Mincher
Me: "Man, how do I make the music I want to make?!?!?" Ben Levin: "OOoooaAAAAaaahhheehoooooaHAAAAAAAH!"
  • Ben's singing and lyrics are like a modern sitcom parody of artsy experimental musicians
  • @corg_9939
Soon making an album will become a speedrunning category
  • @EusebiusAT
I'm sort of new to digital music production, but I can sort of understand everything Adam is doing, yet whenever I see Ben doing anything I feel like a medieval peasant discovering an alien species.
  • @gustavbw
"We just 9 to 5'ed!" That's the only time I've heard that sentence in a positive tone
  • @amytg777
I couldn’t tell if “Beautiful and Tragic” was the album name or the description of the process for making it.
  • @AimeeNolte
I’ll be listening all day! I’m so glad that an album came out of this momentous stream. Also, I do not envy you, having to edit this down to 43 minutes.
  • @KosieRosie
everytime ben sends adam some of his weirdest shit and Adams like "0_0 okaaayyy" I live for that
  • @y2kona
bruh i cant think of a good melody in 24 hours this man wrote an entire album wow
  • @AFN2750
Adam: hey so I made this super useful synth line that sounds amazing and calm Ben: so I screamed into a mic and used some nutso arpeggiators and stuff Edit to note: I love it, it’s just very, very different approaches to music
  • I was in the stream for +6 hours aprox and i can tell you that the entire livestream was as entertaining as this higlights video, their process is just so free and fun (also the ben jokes had me dying several times)
  • @calebb.56
I can't believe between this and First of October, "album speedrun" is becoming my new favorite genre.
  • @Clashyah00
I love the contrast between Ben and Adam's rooms. Really demonstrates their personalities which also come out clearly in their music.
  • @dallen3000
ben: "that's nice . obviously reversed" not sure why but that was hilarious to me 10:40
  • @manit9226
    THEY"RE DOINGG IT TOMORROW AGAIN!!!!
  • @emrazum
The amount of editing required to make this must've been insane, not to mention mastering the video's audio with a bunch of different songs. Great work
  • @ttmcoffee6806
Rob Scallon and Andrew Huang: We're four parallel universes ahead of you
  • @caseymclane1972
also I can't even fathom how muffled your guys' ears were towards the end of this because as a sound engineer, I always find myself having to do 15-minute breaks every 90 minutes or so, otherwise I lose any possibility of clear-headed judgement over what's going on
