In addition to what the other commenters have said here, I love the slight 4th-wall break lines the kids make while they're fighting like how Craig says "so they finally talked us into playing superheroes, huh" and "I finally got to play the Stick of Truth" by Wendy 😂

This has to literally be one of the best scenes from the game,the fact that you literally go back to fight yourself from the first game and have one of your partners be the backstory version of you is just plain Amazing
