Friday Night Funkin' VS Monika + Doki Doki Takeover Plus (FNF Mod) (Doki Doki Literature Club/DDLC)

Holy hell, this update is absolutely PACKED with content even for a 3 hour experience, I really wanna thank the creators for pulling a W and managed to make such a good update to Doki Doki Takeover.

You know what I really love about this? It reminds me so much of the old fnf. Back when every popular mod wasn’t Dave and Bambi or a horror mod, when they were more cheerful, when they weren’t hard but just fun to play, when they featured more original characters and when they actually felt like they belonged in fnf. Sure this mod might be a fnf version of ddlc but it feels so uplifting and there are so many cameo appearances that it gives me real nostalgia. Good times…

I’m still blown away by the amount of content, but the fact that they not only acknowledged but made a whole song for Libitina is astonishing. Libitina is some deep, DEEP DDLC lore

Back when the mod came out, I thought you'd face the protagonist in the festival week. So it's great to see they gave him a week even if he's not that important in the main game compared to the girls. The Epiphany song having lyrics is cool, as well as the costumes they added. Always nice to see mods with impactful updates of fanservice.

Reskin to a full mod, time flies fast. A blessed 3 hours mod from the team! Man, it's been two years ago since this came out and yet it's still updated. Been an FNF og now, sure this community is still great to hangout besides from toxicity and blah, blah, blah, drama. I still love it!

the “choose your doki” part was so creative, props to team TBD for their hardwork!

- The Pixel Prologue Week had a major overhaul - Most of the Doki Doki girls are reanimated - Pixel BF sprites are remade | GF on some slight additional coloring in her pixel sprites - BF's uniform sprites are also remade; he's actually wearing a proper boys' school uniform - Some ending cutscenes in the non-prologue weeks have been slightly remade, especially for the most of it at the end of Yuri's week - Epiphany has a new background, and so does Monika - The tracks that haven't got much instrumental change are (Poems N' Thorns, Dual Demise, Glitcher (Monika Mix), but it has remade vocals. - Most of the menu visuals are revamped - New Costumes, Freeplay-exclusive feature! - MC is finally an opponent to rap against! - Epiphany (with Lyrics), is now an additional freeplay difficulty after defeating the normal Epiphany! - Can save Monika from being deleted (shown in the link cg posted in the comment: https://youtu.be/3HIfKooKHtE) - Encore Week - Side Stories - Secret Songs - There is also Bad Ending, but that's a separate mod. Absolutely WORTH the 1 year wait. Greatly represents ddlc and gives a small uneasy vibe yet manages to be cute and friendly, not to mention the absolute bangers packed into it

Nice to see the members of the literature club get their happy endings. Some people think that happy endings detract from the game ro whatever people think, but I always like it. Nice to see Monika reach a new reality, where she is removed from the constraints of the game. I liked the sequence where each member sang with Monika and showed how their lives had improved, wholesome.

I absolutely adore this update. Thé new content, the overhauls on previous weeks, the costumes. I can really feel the love and care team TBD and those who helped care about this mod.

I'm going to be completely honestly, I went through the whole thing when I came out yesterday and I gotta say, it was the most fun I've ever had with an FNF mod. From the costumes, to the updated music and visuals. Songs I didn't like all that much before were now absolute bangers, lots of characters got their stories fully resolved(senpai), we got to hear MC actually sing, it's just been lots of fun. To everyone who worked on this mod, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!

This mod for me #1 for me just because of the new mechanics, the emotions the stories brings, the remixes, and the overall vibes the mod gives me. The official unpixelated Senpai, the new redesigns for pixelated BF and Monika, and all the new cut scened and outfits really brought the mod to life. This year has been a year of overall bangers in the world of FNF, from Impostor v4 to DDTO+, I can't wait for what else is in store. Thanks to this community and the amazing talent it has, I found some level of sanity in life. :D And y'know, cuz Monika is in it lol

What a PHENOMENAL sendoff to both the FNF and DDLC communities. This update far surpassed the expectations that anyone could've possibly set forth. I love this mod and the devs behind it. Thank you Team TBD! You guys knocked it out of the park with this one!~

This DDTO+ update was so worth the wait! It's amazing to finally see all the effort and love put into this mod

2:08:34 I know this bit. It’s from a bar game called Valhalla or VA-11-Hall-A, where the main protagonist Jill serves up drinks to whoever decides to enter the bar. There’s quite a bit of story in that game and it’s nice for an overall chill experience (if you can handle the topics and conversations they have there heh)

This whole mod is absolutely outstanding. The devs did an amazing job. The animations, cutscenes, songs, everything. Not to mention the fact that week 1 (Monika pixels week) was completely redone. The songs are so catchy, and the vocals match each girl perfectly (including GF, surprisingly). Amazing job, devs! This may be the best mod this community has ever seen!
