I'm a 🇳🇿 New Zealander but my husband is a Muslim and he did take me once to 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia but I only stayed in Riyadh with his grandparents whilst he and his dad went on their second pilgrimage to Mecca. After the pilgrimage, we did then go off to 🇦🇪 Dubai and 🇪🇬 Egypt. Saudi was definately more modern than I thought it would be and definately cleaer than some other Western cities (like Toronto, Los Angeles and Paris) that I've been to but unfortunately, I didn't get to go around much.

It’s just a much better place to live than Dubai

It is very simple - almost zero crime rate, good health care, no taxes, free education for kids up to college level, modern tech. What more could you ask for? Only issue I could find is the religion aspect as I 'm not sure what happens if you are not Muslim.
