I know this is an arcane study but it was also hands down the best and most comprehensive blender tutorial I've ever seen. Keep up the good work!! <3
  • @caterpillar9512
you just did a blender tutorial in a few minutes with such clarity that I learned more than watching hour long tutorials. your teaching skills are seriously underrated

16:37 finally, an actual good take on using 3d models in 2d art. im tired of people calling it cheating while others know its value and use it consciously in their work but never take the time to explain for those who dont why and when to use it.

Love it Marco, when I grow up I wanna be like you 🎨🖌

The fact that we’re watching this level of content for free is absolutely insane. Thanks man!
  • @morkaili
Little fun fact about the show: They actually used a lot of traditional painting, so analog not digital, and projected those as textures on the 3D models. It would be really cool Marco, if you could show us that, too.
  • @gabrielhawk
In this short tutorial, you made the best and most cohesive Blender background modeling tutorial I have ever seen. I couldn't stand those 30 minutes long videos teaching you how to make a basic sphere. You go straight to the point, as always. Thanks a lot Marco :)

I have been waiting for someone to make a video like this and seeing this coming from you, the only one who helped me get so much better at art, just made me sOO happyy!!!

Probably one of the best take on the artstyle of arcane. Ive always been interested in making a realistic style but also having that anime look too, so when i saw arcane... I was amazed. Every shot is perfect, the paint and the blending of characters and the background is on point. Im downloading blender right now, and from what ive seen in your video, I think it would help me with my backgrounds since i struggle in making sketches of it even though i have a clear idea of what i wanted too make.

"Cheating" seems like a powerful indictment for incorporating additional skills. None of us are cheating for using digital media and thus not needing to learn how to mix pigments or understand how color changes as various types of media dries or cures.

Just wanted to learn the Arcane painting style and it definitely helped me on some things and because of you, I've now learnt how to use Blender. This channel is just godlike just like the artist himself. Thank you!

"I wonder how much this new laptop is!" Marco: "It uses Wacom technology" "Oh, ok so ALL of my money, then?" 😂 I absolutely love your teaching style. Thanks for your generosity in being willing to share knowledge like this for free. :)
