"The tool tip is a lie"; it's so true, and one of my biggest frustrations with the TW:W series. Bless you and the other content creators for supplementing/correcting the ingame literature.
  • “Here we go babey” Me unironically, out loud, to myself upon seeing this
  • I would also like to add that Missle units also profit from "Blade of rhuin", if you have blobbed up Missleunits yourself you have a chance to do some burst damage with it.
  • For anybody watching, when it comes to Fireball you only want to overcast when you are targeting units. An overcast Fireball goes from explosion radius 3 & 144 damage to radius 6, 144 damage, 72 AP damage.
  • It was weird not seeing Firestorm, seeing how it's the most cost effective vortex spell in the game.
  • Ever Since they changed transformation of cadon to spawn eagles for elves, I've wanted it to spawn a big ripperdactyl for lizardmen.
  • Would really like the special lores (eg ruin, dark, etc), since this video is really helpful and some factions don't get any of these lores. Thank you for explaining all that stuff the game really should do in the first place.
  • Overcasting the final transmutation in multiplayer is one of the best joy in this game

Amazing content, loving your quick vids
  • You are quickly becoming the loremaster of TWW2 spells on Youtube! I would, however, like even more details, including stats from TWWstats, which you use on other videos.
  • For we lore of beasts durthu still has a manticore summon and not the bird However he lacks any wom regen and generally wants to act as a monster first and caster second
  • This is a brilliant video! Please consider every other lore, that would be hella useful!
  • plague of rust is 100% a campaign spell aswell, arguably a ton more potent on baltasar since he can literally cast it for free unupgraded. But in the early game removing up to 100 armor makes killing lords that're an absolute bane to deal with(Carstein, Orion, etc) so much more bearable when combined with a light wizard with net.
  • Worth mentioning that dwellers too is excellent against anything that isn't a single entity, not just infantry. Great at killing cav and even monstrous infantry/cav. There was a brief time when zoat box was meta against brettonia until people figured out that dwellers instantly wins there.
  • Thank you for doing this. I would love to see a deeper dive into the specifics of the different spells
  • Pit of shades carries the game for vampire counts in campaign. Just trick the ai into blobbing, surround with zombies, get 1200 kills, replenish your army in one turn, repeat.
  • @zaviaaaaa
this was a really excellent and simple breakdown
  • I always love when the tooltip lies. I would understand if there was a humuhgus amount of spells that where somehow modiefiable and the tooltips would autogenerate based on stats of a spell. But as it is accurate tooltips wouldn't be very much work.

I see a comment about pit of shades MP use, but not campaign use! As a stationary vortex it is arguably better than any other vortex spell unless the AI is making a truly gigantic blob. While the damage is less efficient vs infantry, an overcast will absolutely wipe out cavalry, and deal decent damage vs monstrous cavalry. This spell literally saved my VH/VH Von Carstein campaign: wind of death was deflecting off of walls in sieges, but I could cast pit of shades right on top gatehouses and overcome all odds. It was also key versus a couple boar boy heavy greenskin armies early on, wind of death was too inefficient and missed.
