  • As someone who suffered life-threatening pneumonia in infancy, and has remained rather susceptible to bronchitis, colds, flu, and the occasional asthma attack, I really appreciate this video. There's much good information here, and it's worth re-watching a few times. Thanks, Dr Mike!
  • I was just in ICU in coma and intabated with allergic pneumonia, or something like that. I didn't have any bacteria for classic pneumonia but both lungs inflamed to the point that I wasn't taking in oxygen though I thought I was. I slipped into unconsciousness without knowing. I never felt like I couldn't breathe. But before I went to hospital I felt like I was breathing through cotton. And so tired. My pulse oximeter read 74 and thought it was broke. I had pneumonia 3 times before this and twice since then. This all started with the COVID vaccine. Literally got it the first time 2 days after. How it is connected I haven't figured out but there has to be a connection. I was the picture of perfect health beforehand. Like scary healthy! My daughter too.

I’m a brand new physician working in primary care and I definitely can see the challenges in getting the diagnosis correct so this video is very helpful and also reassuring.
  • I had Strep Pneumonia, Influenza A, Bronchitis & Asthma in 2016 after a trip to China in 2016. I spent 6 days in Hospital in Hong Kong, I have never been so sick in my life. I am very susceptible to Respiratory infections now 😢
  • Excellent and detailed video, which confirmed to me that I am finally being treated correctly. Thanks doctor
  • In the hospital, the doctor on call orders a chest x ray, blood cultures, urinalysis right away and possibly a one dose broad spectrum IV antibiotic if they have even a slight fever. They don't make a specific diagnosis if they are sick with other diagnosis and already hospitalized. But this is good information. Thanks doctor!

Thank you for all your videos. You are an amazing person to share your useful knowledge with others.
  • Had chronic illness from birth. At age 6, I had double pneumonia. Have had pneumonia several times in my life. Had the pneumonia vaccine since it came out.
  • Having COPD, I fight bronchitis and or pneumonia every single time I get a chest cold. I cannot get through a normal cold (viral)without it degrading into a more severe infection (bacterial).Usually the one drops my ability to fight off anything that is coming in.

Yes I had strep pneumonia and acute bronchitis this was in college after the nurse visit where they did all these tests they offered me a mask and told me to go home i was scared of missing class but I showed them the note from the campus nurse

I had double pneumonia, sepsis and ARDS from Covid in 2021. I barely survived. I was just released from the hospital with pneumonia from Human Metapneumo Virus. Seems like ever since Covid damaged my lungs so badly, I get sick so often, and it goes straight to my lungs.
  • @JPzizou
Keep coughing when there is cold air and bring up phlegm in the morning and hot shower. What is the solution
  • Thankyou. I also am susceptible due to incubation as an infant and now with COPD . I have been " spiked" several times since ,covid( 19) has been _ around. I am now and have been infected by something far more potent and last time it lasted 15 days or so, it's the 2nd time I've felt these particular symptoms albeit slightly less intense this time last infection lasted , approx 6_ 8wks since prior " exposure " Also I'm not " Vaccinated" With any of the variables of mrna or other available options. So I'm using natural immunity and homoeopathic remedies. So I wish us all well.
  • T Cell exhaustion from repeat Sars Cov 2 infections. Wear an n95 mask.
