Ringo is funnier than half of the Netflix comedian working today.
-
It has been said before me, yet I will say it again: Thank you, Ringo!

It's nice to see an interview from 1981 that doesn't mention John's death. I will say this, though: I wished Merc's sidekick should have conducted the interview. He knew a lot more about the music scene than Merv did

John was going to record with Ringo on this album. John wrote "Life begins at 40" and "Nobody Told Me" for Ringo.

Ringo 💍🥁 the greatest drummer a great musician. The Beatles are my favourite band. 👍🏻💯
-
Ringo's drunk here, as he was for most of the 80's, still shell-shocked from John's shooting too.

-
He lokoks different without the beard and glasses
-
Merv was certainly no Johnny Carson but he's quite good here👍
-
Look at that toupee' 😄
-
Rock music wasn't Merv's bag but he's trying to seem interested.

Ringo is a great character, and completed the whole Beatles, without him The Beatles would of been a great band but less appealing . Pete Best was a good drummer, but would of changed the dynamics of the Beatles to focus only on John, Paul and George.
-
Still think he looks best with mustache and no beard. It works. Or did. Doubt it would be recommended now 😁
-
Slightly inebriated.

ringos hair here was unnatural lookin

Ringo must have been insufferable at this time. Smug, self satisfied and constantly trying to entertain. Glad he stopped the booze/drugs and became himself.
