To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic sinking, here is the latest revision of the five-year-old "Model Titanic Sinks" series.

Two Academy-Minicraft 30" 1:350 scale Titanic models, specially modified by the RapidNadion W&M Shipyards to sink as the real Titanic did, were used in the creation of this video.

Shot with a Casio Exilim FC-150 and a GoPro Hero HD.

For much more information on these models, check out our Channel Page. They are heavily featured there, and at our website: www.RapidNadion.com/

You know, I watched this when it first came out so around 8 years ago. I came back this time and I see the emotions that they had tried to display in creating it. A beautiful ship from the very beginning, unfortunately it had a sad ending. I think there was around 1,500 people who lost their lives. I hope they all had some type of consolation when it all came to an end.
  • I used to watch this video and some of your other Titanic models sinking videos back when I was a kid, now I have returned to this place !

Very well done! My mother is 93 and actually had a friend when she was young who was a survivor of the Titanic. Lost her husband on it. Nice commemoration, and worth all your hard work. Tragic event, but nice tribute.

The Real Ship: 2 hours And 40 Minutes This: 2 minutes and 40 seconds
  • This was one of the coolest replica scenarios I believe I've ever seen.

Gentlemen, it was a privilege playing with you tonight.

Historically accurate the way the ship broke apart, first funnel being sheered off on impact, the rest on the way down to the ocean floor. It's definately unsettling when you think about the horror there must have been while this was all going on but a well-done recreation, great job!
