The Simmons SDX was ahead of it's time, remember when it came out at a price of $12,000 in 1988, all the electronic Drums today copied the multi sample technology of the SDX. Dave Simmons is a genius and create a Fairlight for drummers, the SDX. Beautiful sound, I still have my beloved SDSV with white pads but will love to have a SDX like that.

Some killer sounds here! For me, the extreme panning kinda kills the cohesiveness of the kit sound, but I'm sure everyone would like to fine-tune things a bit! Like gating the reverb, but then also let a bit through, or even affect the dry gate with a different reverb. And then... and then another 3 hours of precious time has slipped away... :) Thanks for sharing!

Sounds really great I have a question I have a Simmons SDS 7 do you know where I can buy the part two switches for the cards you know they're real flimsy is a break if you could please just let me know where I can order them thank you
