Listen to Taaha Shah's insightful and sensitive conversation with me as he talks about the benefits of failure and struggle and how to keep it real amidst the rising stardom he is currently enveloped in. Taaha Shah was the breakout star in Heeramandi on Netflix directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and it seems with his level of insight into the reality of show business, Taaha is not going away for a while.

OTHER ACTORS PLAY HOWEVER THEY LIKE BUT - here we are talking about Sharmin. She did Good job, period. This shows on the screen. HER ACTING DO NOT COMPARE WITH OTHER ACTORS. She came up with her own body language and her own carrying out. Innocent of young girl who is just turning to teen age [how they are naive] that is what Sharmin played and yet mature enough to take blame and sacrifice herself and her life for country. Those days’ people were that patriotic. When you are at shock mode when Manisha gives hard punishments and Sharmin shows those shocked emotions and when she wanted to take the pain with a smile that also shows on screen. If you watch it again with positive lenses to see Sharmin Segal Mehta then you will notice that her character was of a innocent girl who never stepped out of that world so I think she maintain that innocent on her facial expressions and on her dances because they are showing her that she never wanted to be part of that world so she never liked wearing jewelry etc. she never learned dance so first time when she was forced into the mess her innocents shows on the screen. I THINK SHE DID GOOD JOB. Taha also did good job. In fact she did extra ordinary job - all seniors in Heeramandi did typical same sort of acting while she stands out with very content acting. Her persona was of a very typically drawn from being at ease in one's situation, body and mind in movie. She was making someone else feel happy and at peace with things in her own mind. I liked that she was able to carry out that on her shoulder and it clearly shows on the screen. In the Malaal movie: - I LOVED her scene at the ocean front with Shiva, her acting was superb. She is so expressive at that time and also when she and Shiva are at her friend house and next day she is telling Shiva that they cannot get married that perfect execution of the scene by Sharmin Segal Mehta. She is a fine art example. She is marvelous and excellent even in Heeramandi. Why stupid people are trolling her.
