Bailey is such a comfort person

Bailey slowly bringing back the theme song gives me joy.

I was finally able to watch Bailey for the first time since my mom passed. We LOVED watching these together. It was a tradition. Plus, my mom got me into true crime shows with this very case. So yeah. I’m so glad this was covered. It made me remember my mom and feel like I can still watch this show/be with her in one more way. ❤

You know what? I'm like 45 minutes into this, and props to the guy that gave the cops the note saying "she's making us lie for her." Justice for Bert, that breaks my heart, he was finally doing okay and she took that from him.

BORN AND RAISED in Sacramento, CA. I LIVED 4 HOUSES DOWN FROM Ms. Dorothea. My older brother helped her carry her groceries up her front steps. My mom never had any problems with her. But my dad said he didn't like the type of "traffic" she frequently had going in and out of her house.

Just have to say, I recently started my Bachelor in Criminology and Dorothea is one of the examples they use to try and show that appearance isn't a reliable way to identify a criminal, as she appears to just be a sweet old lady. A lot of people used to believe you could identify a criminal based on their appearance, particularly after Cesare Lombroso came out with a theory on what a criminal looks like, or identifiable traits of different types of criminals. Anyway, still cannot believe the horrific things people do and how long it takes to catch some of them!

Love the eyes in this look. Nice angles for her. Interesting story. I worked with elderly as an activity director and found that many elderly are utilized for stolen social security checks. I've seen family put their loved ones in sheds, living on ramen noodles and isolated. PLEASE CALL ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES IF YOU'RE IN THE USA AND SUSPECT AN ELDER IS GOING THROUGH THIS!!! Honestly, I think the handyman DEFINITELY helped her with the bodies, I think he had more to do with that box than he is letting on.

I feel like Glen Close would be the perfect actor for Dorothea if this story were ever turned into a movie or show.

From Sacamento here! Dorthea went to the same church as my dad. He did a lot of carpentry/ contracting and helped out the church when he could. He helped Dorthea fix a few things around her house, and he said she had several rooms that were divided. He said she was the sweetest old lady and would've never guessed. They even sat at a bar and shared a few drinks. He said she was very sweet and charismatic.
