Alright so he's ranked the score and the opening crawls for every star wars movie, now he has to rank the movies based on best use of the wilhelm scream

No joke, when I first saw "The Dead Speak!" in the theater, I laughed out of joy. That's exactly the kind of fun corny writing you would find in an old sci-fi film crawl. And then immediately after, when I read that Palpatine was alive, my heart sank. I've never gone from 100 to 0 so quickly when watching a film.

Out of literally everything Star Wars related that this man can review, it was impossible for the opening crawls to have crossed my mind

I love how George Lucas was inspired to do something that seemed outdated in 1977 and managed to make it one of the most recognizable things of all time.

Fun fact: The opening crawls were painfully tedious to shoot in the original trilogy. This is because the text was on one big cel on the floor they slowly panned the camera on. They had to redo the shot every time the camera went ever so slightly off center. Now, they're done digitally because every video editor has the effect as a preset.

I mean its clear how palpatine managed to send that message to the entire galaxy, he just used his opening crawl powers to send a bunch of gigantic floating words throughout space.

I was so pissed when it was revealed that Palpatine return from the dead was revealed in the opening crawl, I'm glad you ranked that one last.

The other thing I just noticed, the first line of Return of the Jedi is, "Luke Skywalker has returned to-" But then In The Force Awakes, the next movie chronologically, the first line is, "Luke Skywalker has vanished." That's so good and I'm not even sure if it was intentional or an accident.

26:45 Rian actually did say repeatedly in interviews that until the reveal, no one had guessed the title he had chosen, despite the fact that he said it was "staring them in the face." It was planned, not a coincidence.

I remember seeing TFA in theaters and reading "Luke Skywalker has vanished". I felt a little ping in my heart(I had gotten into SW that year and he was my favorite character of the original trilogy) and I thought to myself "oh...so that's why he wasn't in the trailers or on the poster..."; it made me very sad.
