  • I learned to ride on one of the Honda scooters as a young kid back in the ‘60s. Looked a lot like this, but with a 50cc engine and it was red. Many great memories. It’s nice to see classic designs getting respect in current times.
  • @TripleThreat58
I like the retro look and the high visibility yellow blends the classic color with a safety element. Would be nice to hear the range at 30-35, and then accessories available like a rack or panniers for the back for those grocery runs.
  • @leonardtodd6621
Looks like the Honda 50 from the 1960's, had one, they were a very cheap way to get around and vertically maintenance free.
  • @ibnumohamad2621
30-35 miles/hour is about 48-52km/hour, that's quite decent for town riding. I would love to have one. Nice reviews
  • @dtape
Seems like a really fun ride. I would totally get one if I still lived in California
  • @gfabie4901
Even just a third more power would’ve sealed it. Although it’s nice to know they got the handling and ride right.
  • @teemlee51
I've been racing motorbikes for decades and if I lived in an urban area, I'd sport that cute little ride in a second. Nice work.
  • @360revs2k12
Sweet video and awesome scooter. I've been following your channel ever since I stumbled upon it while designing an electric motorbike for my final year thesis and seeing the emergence of more electronic 2 wheeled vehicles gets me more and more excited everytime I see one

The CSC Monterey is powered by a 1.5kW continuous and 2.6kW peak motor and a 60V 26Ah (1,560 Wh) removable battery. It’s rated for a range of between 20-65 miles (32-100 km) depending on rider weight and road conditions.
  • @AJ-mw4nb
5:03 if you focus on the lower half of the screen at this point... its so trippy. It reminds me of those old 90s racing games where the bike/car stayed at once place and the road moved backwards under you
  • Perfect for when I’m out camping and don’t want to pack up the van just to go into town for lunch, love it.The yellows my favorite to😃👋🏼
  • @bobshaffer3889
Love the look of this scooter! Had one in the 60's and going to get one of these after watching your review! THANKS!
  • @jaybod6253
would love to see a more detailed look around the bike including tech info like maintenance, charge times etc
  • @johncford3957
Not only is that a really nice scooter but I love the place you are driving it in , wow what a beautiful city.
  • @geekfreak618
That brings back memories for me for the similar looking gas scooters back in the day. I bought a Sears Allstate from a grade school classmate that didn't run when I got it.
  • @morrisp.5583
Great looking scooter. Can't get over the price ! This would suit my needs nicely. Would love to see a more detailed follow-up on this. Sure, a bit slow, but the bright yellow visuals and riding curbside should make this do-able for many. They're gonna sell a ton of these !
  • @BehroozShariati
This seems like a great urban scooter. I live in San Francisco, and wondered how it copes with hills. 2.4KW should be more than enough, but would be great to see it in action.
  • @timsherer4962
Mike, new to your channel just wanted to say thank you for all the videos. I have been watching your how to build a e-bike battery. I think I am becoming a expert with all your help 😁 thanks again.
  • @joeadam444
I've just started to get into ebikes and scooter and this little yellow scooter looks like a blast!
