Toonami Rewind: Adult Swim's Second Nostalgia Block

Hopefully this won't mark the true downfall of Checkered Past, as it will now only air on Monday through Thursday with the current Friday schedule being moved to Thursdays. It's only a matter of time honestly... I doubt the block will be discontinued anytime soon, but if it does end up being removed, they'll move the shows either to Boomerang or more likely MeTV Toons!
Speaking of, there's a few quick updates regarding MeTV Toons such as even more shows being planned to air on the channel later down the line such as Wait Til Your Father Gets Home along with a few rumored shows such as Pink Panther, Terry Toons, and Dexter's Laboratory.

it's funny that Adult Swim announces Toonami Rewind RIGHT as i was watching Cereal Milk VHS's channel on YouTube, which has old Toonami airings that you can watch on YouTube from his channel, but hey i get to watch Toonami at a reasonably earlier time rather then midnight for 1 hour before bed again

Sailor Moon being back on CN (indirectly) is amazing imo. Also I think Pink Panther definitely could air on MeTV Toons as Saturday mornings MeTV airs some Pink Panther shorts

It's nice to see Sailor Moon on modern Toonami in a way. It'd be nice to see Yu Yu Hakusho on the block at some time as well.

I would never imagine Sailor Moon coming back on TV this is amazing! This is the first time that Sailor Moon has been on TV for over 21 years since 2003.

Toonami Rewind is a great idea but they should air on Saturdays starting at 5pm since they’re only airing Fox shows at the moment. Mon-Fri: Checkered Past Sat: Toonami Rewind Sun: ACME Night

1:43 maybe for the cartoon cartoons but Fosters did air on Kids WB around 2005.

It's really cool to see Sailor Moon on this block, and I personally loved the Viz dub so I'm glad to see that's the version that they went with :D

Took long enough!! Toonami decides to air on a decent timeslot by doing this new Toonami Rewind! :) Though some people are not too impressed because they're airing DBZ Kai and not the original DBZ Dub.

I hope MeTv Toons shows classic holiday specials such as the Halloween Tree, The Thanksgiving that Almost Wasn’t and the Garfield specials in the future.

Plus courage , Ed’s are all currently on DVD complete sets , Along with fosters home , and soon ppg dexters lab and probably Billy and Mandy later on if they haven’t already written them off yet

Nice you are the only source i trust to keep me updated on metv toons. Hopefully they add the transformers. Kind of sucks how they will eventually take out cartoons only for them to return in who knows how long.

Fun fact Dexter’s Lab used to air on TBS a day before CN So it’s not the first time that CN show aired on broadcast tv

Hopefully this isn't a sign of Toonami disappearing from Saturday nights. It's bad enough the block has been getting shortened over the last few years, I'd hate to see it completely replaced with a 2-hour block on Fridays.
