Make sure when selecting a picture to use as wallpaper, you use the option that says "quickpic wallpaper," and not just the stock "choose as homescreen/lockscreen wallpaper" option. Also make sure to enable wallpaper scrolling in Nova.

For scrollable wallpaper? Nova settings - scrollable wallpaper active, Download quick pic. Make sure the image you want to use is wide enough that it needs to scroll. Go to quick pic and select your image. Press menu button and select "set as" option. Once you hit that make sure to hit "QUICKPIC WALLPAPER" not any other option. Then it'll ask you to crop and press save.

When you open menu in Quick Pic, there should be a "set as" option, which should then give you a second menu for Wallpaper.
