  • I am an 82 year old white woman raised on a Kansas farm and Tupac is very important to me -- not even sure why. Somehow he shines a light in my heart. It's just the way it is . ..
  • @iphoneupdate
Really humanizes Tupac , people forget he was just a kid
  • @Openlyginger
The fact that Dennis got choked up speaking about the poet tupac is Amazing 💪🔥🤘🙏💯
  • @kayboo5835
Pac really had that effect on those who actually interacted with him. They all have different accounts of him, and was not someone that can be boxed into a certain category. By Dennis being that affected when talking about him, he must've really bonded and got to know the real Pac, not the image portrayed by the media. Dennis a real one for this! 💪🏽
  • Crazy how Pac was a young black man, a rapper… look how well he bonded with someone like Dennis Quaid. Pac and Mickey Rourke were also great friends. Pac received letters in jail from Tony Danza. He was really that type of person, who could connect with ANYONE. His music is heard throughout the world til this day, he could tackle any subject, he also was pretty much a poet, acted too… and he died at 25 years old. Crazy
  • YES! Been waiting YEARS to heard Dennis Quaid speak on his time working with PAC. Thanks Patrick!
  • You can tell Dennis really love 2pac,and that bond they have
  • @jm78593
This is the best speech ever told about Tupac. Thank you Pat and Dennis.
  • @PeteyS.D.
I think Tupac was a sensitive, intelligent individual, who had to create a tough persona to protect himself from being vulnerable in a rough environment. RIP.
  • @muzikman7765
Tupac was a G, but when you listen to people tell stories of him you really see how much of a humble human being he was. Life was taken way too short.
  • @MrYesiir
He's music is still uniting people till this day.
  • @nevmev5982
Im 37 now, and i remember the day that my mom sat me down when i was about 9 and told me that Tupac had been killed. I cried, and my mom actually teared up. Im a suburban white kid whose parents were in the legal profession and even they felt the loss, and knew i liked his music. My mother has always loved the song "Dear Momma." They even surprised me with a fake birthday card from Dr. DRE, when i was 10. Great parents. Later in life i met Tupac's Mom's lawyer in school, and she took a liking to me and gifted me a book that had replica copies of his notes and letters to friends, ideas of his for businesses. And every now and then i will pull it out and thumb through it. At a young age from that sad scenario of Pac losing his life so young, i learned the tragedy of lost potential. Look for greatness in unlikely places, people.

I'll never forget when Dennis saved his only son Jake Gyllenhaal from the scary ice
  • New respect for Denis, its amazing the effect Pac had on people. You can tell he was genuinely still hurting
  • @bigjun913
DQ made me tear up with his love and respect for Tupac...
  • @essj3334
We need more 2pac stories from actors who worked with him in the 90s movies.
  • @leddidi
No rapper had much popularity in the whole world than 2pac
  • Imagine what 2Pac would have accomplished if he was still here. He was one of the greatest! ❤❤❤
  • The media loved point out Tupacs wild side and thug persona. This man Dennis Quaid had nothing but kind words to say about him.
