  • My dad's friend saw this intro when my brother was going to play this game. He's said he's drowning because his shoes are so big

This intro has pretty dang good graphics for a 2002 game
  • It took me 17 years to realize that the ocean in these openings is symbolism for the darkness.

You know you're having a bad trip when you litteraly see yourself falling from the sky
  • @Synthgamer
When you press NEW GAME to just see the intro.

"I've been having these weird thoughts lately..." I think that's puberty talking, Sora.
  • @strulona6133
"I've been having these weird thoughts lately... Like, Is any of this for real, or not?" That's what I'm asking myself my whole life.

Who’s here after the new Re: Mind trailer? 👀
  • @BeefBossu
I've realized something. It's been about 8 years since I last saw this opening. I never appreciated how good it was. On a completely different note: why don't games have musical intro scenes anymore?

To everyone wondering why there's so much "falling" in Kingdom Hearts... There's definitely symbolism embedded in falling since it's so prevalent across all of the various KH games and in the ALL of the game's opening cinematics. As most people who have played the games knows, dreams and sleep have a lot to do with the main plot and some of their name's reflect this ("Birth by Sleep"....."DREAM Drop Distance"....etc). Most people on Earth have encountered a falling sensation right before waking up - at least at some point in their lives. This fall happens before Roxas wakes up in Twilight Town and also before Sora wakes up on Destiny Islands. Those cinematics show their falls and it's really obvious. Falling happens in dreams and, whenever you see a character falling like this, they are DREAMING and about to wake up. However, there can also be falling WITHIN dreams. A character "falls" asleep, falls within the dream (transitions from dream to dream / dream within a dream) and ultimately "falls" back awake. So watch the opening again (and all of the other openings) with this in mind. And ask yourself, is life just a dream? "Like, is any of this for real? Or not?"

God I almost want to cry, there’s literally nothing that takes me back to a simpler time quite like this song
  • "I've been having these weird thoughts lately... like is any of this for real or not?" "None of this makes sense to me."
  • @joseperalta3500
Am I the only one who looked for this song just to listen to Sora saying the "I've been having this weird thoughts lately..."-phrase after watching the Remind DLC trailer?
